Recently a work colleague attempted to teach me to crochet. Given that I can knit and regularly pick up new skills I thought I'd be a natural. Unfortunately what I made was a ball of wool on a stick.
I was frustrated by this so decided to set myself a half term challenge to learn the skill. I bought a crochet kit from Tesco, thinking as its aimed at kids it should be quite simple. After a very slow start I eventually picked it up and learnt the basic stitches which should prepare me for other projects.
I'm sure his head is a lot bigger than it should be, counting is clearly not my strong point, but I'm happy with the little guy!
