Painting Painting Painting

Last night I spent about 5 hours painting and painting and painting. Always saying 'I'll stop after this one'

I've coated the drawers twice in Vintage Duck Egg and then rough brushed it with Caterbury Duck Egg to make it look a bit shabbier.

All that's left to do now is to go over some of the edges with the gold paint. Sounds pretty gross but I tried it on the door knobs and I like the way they're looking. First coated in Mod Podge then two coats of Canterbury Duck Egg and a touch of gold to the edges.

I'm really impressed with the Wilko's Best tester pots. One tester pot (£2) has covered three drawers with two coats with a bit of paint left over.

I've got the clear sealer to add to the knobs and then they're all done!

Still waiting for the legs 😠
